From our inception as a window cleaning company Reflections Facilities Maintenance has placed a high level of emphasis on delivering the best possible outcome for our window-cleaning clients. To date we have undertaken a wide range of window cleaning projects including: Shopping Centres, Universities, clubs, and local government organisations. The broad range of situations in which we undertake our window cleaning services has lead to the adoption of a varied range of widow cleaning methodologies. Our window cleaning services include:
- Water fed poles
- Elevated work platforms (EWP's)
- Rope access
- Internal window cleaning

The utilization of telescopic poles in conjunction with deionized water has been the single biggest development in window cleaning in the last decade. In a nutshell, the water fed cleaning process involves the agitation and rinsing of the window surface with deionized water; the deionization process removes all of the trace elements from the water, which in turn means that the window dries streak and spot free.
Water fed poles are typically constructed from fiberglass, carbon fibre, or a composite of both, and are available in lengths up to 23 meters. The use of telescopic, water fed poles significantly reduces the need for ladders, scaffolds and other access equipment which in turn results in a safer, more efficient working environment.

In some instances even the longest telescopic pole will not be able to reach the work surface; this may simply be a matter of length, or alternatively, the work surface could be in an impossible to reach area. For these situations Reflections will often use Elevated Work Platforms or EWP’s. EWP’s include boom and scissor lifts and enable us to clean buildings that would normally be out of reach of telescopic poles. All of our technicians are licensed to operate elevated work platforms.

For high-rise applications, or situations where it is not possible to employ EWP’s Reflections utilizes qualified rope access technicians to undertake cleaning and maintenance activities. To the casual observer rope access might appear to be a high-risk activity, however, when undertaken by qualified and experienced technicians it is a highly effective and safe access methodology. All of Reflections technicians meet the requirement and have been licensed by recognized rope access bodies: IRATA and ARRA.

While the cleaning of internal windows largely remains the domain of traditional “squeegee and bucket” cleaning we have been able to employ enhanced water fed pole technology to facilitate the cleaning of high level, internal glazing. Once again we have been able to reduce the need for access equipment and provide safer and more efficient solution for our clients.
